Final Fantasy 16: The Man in Black (Holy Trumpitour) Hunt Location and Rewards (FF16)
A Man in Black is skulking around the newly abandoned Lostwing, and it’s up to Clive to put an end to his reign of terror. Here’s how to find him.
- Select Central Sanbreque on the world map (Lostwing).
- Follow the Cellar Passage in town to its end.
From the world map, Central Sanbreque to the far right. This waypoint will likely read Lostwing. If it doesn’t, go to its local map and select the Lostwing Obelisk.
Once you arrive in Lostwing, head up the stairs and make your way into the church.
In the church, to the left of the entrance, you’ll see a ladder that goes down. Descend, and you’ll reach a door at the bottom that will lead you to the Cellar Passage.
Eventually, this stone corridor will lead to an open area where The Man in the Black, now revealed to be the Holy Trumpitour, will be waiting. The Holy Trumpitour is Rank-B and level 36.
Despite his size and enormous weapon, the Holy Trumpitour is surprisingly mobile, using his mortar to rocket around the place.

Rewards for Defeating Dread Comet in Final Fantasy 16
Upon defeat, The Man in Black will give the following rewards:
- Scarletite (rare crafting material)
- Meteorite (uncommon crafting material)
- 2,200 Experience
- 75 Ability points
- 9,800 Gold
- 20 Renown
