Find the Dungeon Key

Final Fantasy 15 Ezma Quest

To acquire the dungeon key that will allow you access to all of these post-game dungeon extensions, you first need to complete every dungeon in the game as well as the main story. That means you need to have defeated the final boss in all eight dungeons in Final Fantasy 15. Once you’ve completed that task, head to the Meldacio Hunter HQ on the northwest side of the world map. You’ll find the outpost along the northern-most road heading toward Vesperpool. If you haven’t already, speak with Ezma in the Risorath Basin and she will give you the Menace Beneath Lucis quest and Sealbreaker’s Key, tasking you with completing all of the dungeons, as previously stated. If you have trouble finding Ezma, just look for the old lady wearing glasses.

If you’ve already completed all of the dungeons or you went back to finish them after getting the quest from Ezma, when you reach the Meldacio Hunter HQ, speak with Ezma again. Talk to Ezma and she’ll offer to give you the Hunter’s Medal, which is a key that will unlock the mysterious doors in these dungeons and allow access to the endgame content within.

Post-Game Dungeons

Before you head into these endgame dungeon extensions, you need to understand what’s behind those locked doors. Each dungeon in Final Fantasy 15 essentially offers a secondary endgame raid that’s locked behind those doors. You can only access these doors once you’ve completed the main story and advanced to Chapter 15. As these endgame dungeon extensions offer varying difficulties, check out the chart below to determine if you’re ready for what you’ll encounter beyond each locked door.
