One particular piece of gear that players may have their eyes on are the Tantalus Cuffs from the Tantalus set, but the way to obtain them may come as a surprise. FFXIV: How to Get Tantalus Cuffs

Currently there’s only one way to get the Tantalus Cuffs in FFXIV and, unfortunately, no amount of gil or treasure hunting will suffice. The Tantalus Attire Set is a part of the Veteran Rewards bonus for being subscribed to Final Fantasy XIV for at least 150 days.

Luckily, this doesn’t mean 150 consecutive days – the subscription can be spread out, so those who have taken a break from the game won’t have their progress reset. Essentially, this just means that an account has to have paid for at least five months of Final Fantasy XIV service.
