You’ll also need to worry about upgrading your weapons, which will make them stronger. How to Craft

Crafting in The Evil Within 2 is an important process that you’ll spend quite a bit of time doing. Because of this, it is important to get used to the crafting system and how you can craft different items likes Medical Syringes and Kits, as well things like Crossbow Bolts, and other ammunition for the weapons in your arsenal.

Now, as you move through the game, there are several items that you will want to keep an eye out for, that are very useful for crafting. One of these items is Gunpowder. Weapons in The Evil Within 2 are pretty underpowered when you first get them, and you’ll need to look into upgrading them as early as possible. To get started, we’d suggest getting your handgun upgraded first, as this will be one of your primary weapons in the game. On top of that, you can upgrade things like Firepower, Ammo Capacity, and your Reload Time and Fire Rate.

Upgrading weapons also takes place at the Workbench. Here you’ll have the option to upgrade all of your current weapons, which you’ll need to do if you wish to take down the stronger enemies in the game.
