Pokemon Unite’s Halloween event has kicked off today. You’ll have to earn a new Pumpkin currency in order to purchase all of the new items for the event. However, it’s not a straightforward as it might seem at first glance. Here is everything you need to know about the Pumpkin exchange in Pokemon Unite.
Everything You Need to Know about The Pumpkin Exchange in Pokemon Unite
During the event in Pokemon Unite, you’ll earn pumpkins by logging in all fourteen days of the event as well as completing some challenges in the new game mode Halloween Mer Stadium. These event challenges will net you different amounts of pumpkins ranging from 1 or 2 to even 10 pumpkins in a single challenge.
There are a few items in the event that can be purchased with the pumpkins like the Unite license for the all-new addition Greedent, a witch hat, and some banner customization options.

If you want to get everything the event has to offer you’ll actually have to have luck on your side. The amount of pumpkins you can earn by logging in and completing challenges is actually less than the total amount of all the items available.
In the Pumpkin Exchange event tab, you’ll notice you can purchase a pumpkin present for two pumpkins. This is an item that can be opened in your consumable items menu. It has different percent chances to give you differing amounts of pumpkins. Spend two pumpkins to buy the item and you might get 50 pumpkins in return, or you can end up with only 1, which means you’ve just lost a pumpkin.
If you want to get everything in the event you’ll have to gamble away your precious pumpkins. It’s a bad system, but you’ll have to pray to RNGesus if you want everything.
We’ve listed out the percent chances of the different amounts of pumpkins.
- Pumpkin x1: 63.27%
- Pumpkin x2: 31.64%
- Pumpkin x5: 3.16%
- Pumpkin x10: 1.58%
- Pumpkin x20: 0.32%
- Pumpkin x50: 0.03%
