Everything New in Need for Speed Unbound VOL 2 Content Update

The new big VOL 2 update for Need for Speed Unbound arrives on March 21 for all versions of the game and brings a lot of new content, cosmetics, and even some new challenges. Check out the official VOL 2 content update trailer:

New Cosmetic Items in Need for Speed Unbound VOL 2 Content Update

  • Bear Champ driving effect (Beat all 30 Rival Hot Lap scores to unlock)
  • Hey May driving effect (Reach 60 stars to unlock)
  • Ghost pose for your driver avatar (Reach 90 stars in Hot Laps to unlock)
  • Need Coffee pose for your driver avatar (Beat 20 Rival Hot Lap scores to unlock)
  • 6 new Banner Stickers (Unlock by escaping cop chases and helping others escape cops)

In addition to the free content that you will have to unlock in the game after the update, VOL 2 also comes with an additional paid DLC called Keys to the Map.

What is in the Keys to the Map DLC for Need for Speed Unbound?

Keys to the Map paid DLC unlocks the locations of all 260 Collectables (Bears, Street Art, and Billboards) and all 160 Activities so you can get cash and rewards faster. Also, it comes with the additional Fury & Zen Clothing Pack that includes one new jacket, t-shirt, sweatpants, and cap.

So, will this be enough to get the players back on the streets of Lakeshore City? We’ll see. It’s certainly nice to see that Need for Speed Unbound is finally getting some post-launch updates, knowing how EA tends to pull the plug on games if they didn’t do well right away.
