Every POI on Ashika Island in COD Warzone 2

New Resurgence locations are revealed.

Ashika Island was leaked at the end of January, but just a day before the next month begins, Infinity Ward gave us a look at the full map coming in Season 2 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2. This is the same map that players have been waiting for since leaks of a Resurgence addition were discovered.

In hindsight, the leaks of a Castle map coming to Modern Warfare 2 make a lot more sense. Some of the points of interest already look great and Castle appears to be one of the areas on Ashika Island. In this guide, we’ll go over all of the new POIs you can expect in Resurgence for Warzone 2.

COD Warzone 2 – Every POI on Ashika Island

Images were revealed for nearly every new point on the map coming in Season 2. In total, there are seven different major POIs across Ashika Island that will encourage different playstyles and choke points as the circle closes. Below you can find the full list and some slight descriptions we took from the Haiku in each tweet from Infinity Ward.

Ashika Island POIs

  • Beach Club – Grab sand and take cover in this spot that definitely isn’t for vacation.
  • Oganikku Farms – An expansive spot with many flat buildings littered around the farms.
  • Residential – Your typical battle royale spot with plenty of housing to fight within.
  • Tsuki Castle – Get past the defender towers around the castle to reach the hidden space inside.
  • Town Center – The market and all of its stalls can be used for long range or close quarters combat.
  • Shipwreck – Two massive ships were wrecked on this side of the coast with cargo spilled on the beach.
  • Port Ashika – This area is winding and expansive, so watch out for players in every corner.
  • Underground Waterways – Waterways that take players deep underground below the map.

Aside from the images that were revealed on Twitter, there was no additional information given for Ashika Island. We’ll have to wait for gameplay footage that is guaranteed to appear within the next week or so as we get closer to Season 2 of Warzone 2. The official release date is February 15, so we don’t have much longer to wait in Call of Duty.
