Dragons Dogma 2: How To Apprehend Elena in Saint of the Slums

Sin city wasn't made for you.

The Saint of the Slums quest line takes a fair number of twists and turns, with some mischievous happenings unfolding at the Gracious Hand. After you’ve gotten sufficient evidence, you’re told to apprehend Elena — but how do you do it?

Dragon’s Dogma 2: How To Hand Over Elena in Saint of the Slums

After you’ve got enough evidence during the Saint of the Slums quest, you’ll finally have the chance to give Elena her comeuppance — and it would be a lot easier if the game told you what you were supposed to do. If you’ve visited the Checkpoint Town to have your medicine examined and witnessed Elena partaking in shady dealings, it’s time to bring her down. Approach her in the Basement Corridor — or wherever she may be at this moment — and use the Grab command to tackle her to the ground. On a controller, this is done with the R2/RT button.

Once you bring her to the ground, she’ll begin to berate you for the choice that you’ve made. Thankfully, you’ve made the right choice here — while some members of the Gracious Hand may have good intent, she is not exactly one of them. She’ll be hauled away to the local Gaol, and you’ll receive a reward for your good deeds. I just hope that Lubomir is alright after everything calms down.

While the game does teach you about the Grab mechanic rather early on, it never fully explains that you can use it to detain NPCs in a situation like this and if you’re anything like me, you went around asking all of the local guards to come and see her, or waited for the signal that Lubomir mentioned earlier in the quest. I guess taking Justice into our own hands was a requirement here.

Be sure to keep your eyes on our Dragon’s Dogma 2 section below to learn more about the game and find out what dyes can and can’t be used for when you finally encounter some of your own.
