This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

One of the most sought after items in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is collecting all seven Dragon Balls. This has been a staple of the anime series and collecting all seven Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is just as important. While the Dragon Balls are rare items that you can come across in almost any mission in which you run into a Time Patrol Agent, there’s one mission in particular that makes this quest significantly easier.

How to Get All Seven Dragon Balls Fast

Before you start your quest to collect all seven Dragon Balls you will want to be level 35. It’s possible to collect them all before you reach level 35, but it will be considerably more difficult and time-consuming. Once you’re level 35, go to Parallel Quest 4. In this quest you must face off against Krillin, Tien and Yamcha. At level 35 you can blow through these three in no time flat.

Once you’ve taken down Krillin, Tien and Yamcha, the gate to the next area opens. Do not go into this gate. Instead, wait to see if the three Time Patrol Agents appear. They generally spawn next to the building you were just fighting at. Speak with the Time Patrol Agents and accept their fight to begin the match.

The three Time Patrol Agents are each at a different level, but one is always above level 30. This is another reason why it’s best to be at least level 35 before attempting this strategy. You need to defeat all three Time Patrol Agents, but after defeating each one, pay close attention to the bottom of the screen. If you see the text that indicates you earned a Key Item, this is the confirmation that you’ll get a Dragon Ball if you defeat the remaining Time Patrol Agents and complete the rest of the quest.

If you defeat all three Time Patrol Agents and do not see the notification that you will get a Key Item, pause the game and select the Retry option to start the quest over. You will only receive a Dragon Ball if you get the Key Item notification after defeating one of the Time Patrol Agents. You won’t get a Dragon Ball every time you go through this quest, but it has a relatively high drop rate.

Once you have all seven Dragon Ball you can make a wish with Shenron. Head back to Conton City and make your way to the Dragon Ball Pedestal in the middle of the map. Access the pedestal to summon Shenron and see all of the available wish options. We’ve detailed what each wish gives you so you don’t waste any of your wishes.
