Doki Doki Literature Club Plus | How to Unlock All Achievements

If you’ve been playing a lot of Doki Doki Literature Club Plus like we have, you may find yourself in the same boat where you’re stuck trying to get the game’s remaining achievements.

So, if you’ve done everything else in the game and want to finish by grabbing all remaining achievements, you’ve come to the right place as we’ve put together a guide that’ll walk you through unlocking all achievements for Doki Doki Literature Club Plus.

Warning: This achievement list contains spoilers for the game, we encourage you to finish Doki Doki Literature Club Plus first before working your way through the game’s remaining achievements. 

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus | How to Unlock All Achievements

In total, there are 18 achievements that you can unlock by playing Doki Doki Literature Club Plus. Below, we’ve listed all of these achievements, how to unlock these achievements, and how much the achievements are worth in terms of Gold earned on Xbox and the type of Trophy you earn for each achievement on PlayStation.

• No (Bronze Trophy, 10G) – When you select Settings and then Exit DDLC you’ll be given the option to pick Yes or No. When you see this, simply select “No” to change your mind about exiting Doki Doki Literature Club Plus. 

• Ruin Everything (Bronze Trophy, 10G) – Delete Monika’s character file (monika.chr) to unlock this achievement. You can delete Monika using the in-game desktop, and we have a guide on how to delete Monika on console as well if you need additional help. 

• 2-Stocked (Silver Trophy, 30G) – Delete Monika’s character file “monika.chr” twice in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus. You can do this however you like, whether you play through the game naturally then replay the game, or delete Monika’s character file early to unlock the “Bad” ending (see our endings guide) then reset the game (see our reset guide) and delete Monika again. 

• Start a New Game (Silver Trophy, 30G) – Earned by starting a new game of Doki Doki Literature Club Plus.

• Any% WR Attempts (Silver Trophy, 30G) – Write a poem in 20 seconds or less. Essentially, pick a word as fast as you can. 

• Doki Doki Poetry Slam (Silver Trophy, 30G) – Stay in the poem mini game until the music begins to loop. Note that the song that plays in the background (called Dreams of Love and Literature) takes a little over 4 minutes to run through to completion (4 mins 9 secs), so you’ll want to stay in the poem mini game for longer than the song’s 4-minute completion time to unlock this achievement. 

• Buy My Mixtape (Silver Trophy, 30G) – For this, you’ll need to spend 20 minutes or more listening to music using the in-game desktop in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus. 

• She Will Never Be Real (Silver Trophy, 30G) – Listen to a lot of what Monika has to say. As you play through Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, you’ll have a number of opportunities to chat with Monika. To unlock this achievement, don’t rush or skip past anything, simply listen to what Monika has to say.

• Error (Silver Trophy, 30G) – You’ll need to use the game’s in-game desktop by selecting Settings then Exit while playing the game. On the in-game desktop, select Pictures and pick any picture that you’d like to set as your in-game desktop background. 

• Stonks (Gold Trophy, 50G) – You’ll likely need to adjust the Date and Time settings to unlock this achievement, which requires you to open a special file. To do this, select Files from the in-game desktop, select “internal” file, the number 2, the number 2 again, and the number 1, until you reach the “project plans.txt” file. If you try to select this at any time other than 2:40 a.m. you’ll be unable to open it. To get around this, you’ll want to change your Date and Time settings so that the time reads 2:40 a.m. at which point you can return and open the “project plans.txt” files and see what’s inside. 

• Perfect! Sayori (Gold Trophy, 80G) – Write a perfect poem for Sayori using words that Sayori likes. For help with this, check out our comprehensive poem word guide. 

• Perfect! Natsuki (Gold Trophy, 80G) – Write a perfect poem for Natsuki using words that Natsuki likes. For help with this, check out our comprehensive poem word guide. 

• Perfect! Yuri (Gold Trophy, 80G) – Write a perfect poem for Yuri using words that Yuri likes. For help with this, check out our comprehensive poem word guide. 

• Perfect! Monika (Gold Trophy, 80G) – Write a perfect poem for Monika, this can be done by choosing any of the word choices provided to you (all variations of the word Monika) when writing a poem for Monika in Act 3. 

• Friendship and Literature (Gold Trophy, 100G) – Complete all Side Stories, requires you to unlock all Side Stories and play through each one. For info on this, check out our guide on how to unlock all Side Stories in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus. 

• Breakthrough (Gold Trophy, 100G) – Achieve 100% data collection, which requires you to unlock all collectible images (CGs) and songs in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus. 

• Thank You (Gold Trophy, 100G) – “Love, Monika” requires the player to complete Doki Doki Literature Club Plus and unlock the “Normal” ending where you receive a heartfelt letter from Monika. • Dan Says Hi (Gold Trophy, 100G) – Find Dan’s special note, requires the player to complete Doki Doki Literature Club Plus and unlock the special “Good” ending where you receive a heartfelt letter from developer Dan Salvato.
