Does Infinite Craft Save? – Answered

Can you craft a save file?

Infinite Craft is a browser game that requires no account of any kind to play. But that begs the question: does Infinite Craft Save your progress?

Does Infinite Craft Save?

Thankfully, Infinite Craft does save your progress. If you close the website tab or browser, Infinite Craft retains all your crafting and component progress in your browser’s history. If you have many crafting components saved it may take some time to load everything when you return to the website, but will be saved even after you leave.

Infinite Craft does this through your browser’s cookies. In other words, if you clear your browser’s cookies, you will lose all your progress. Clearing your browser’s cache or browsing data will not revert your progress.

How Can You Reset Infinite Craft?

If you really want to reset your Infinite Craft progress, you have two options: one is to clear your browser’s cookies, which can be done through the browser’s history page.

There’s an easier way to clear your progress in Infinite Craft, and that is via the Infinite Craft webpage itself. On the bottom left of the Infinite Craft webpage is the word “Reset.” If you click it, you’ll get a pop-up with the warning, “Are you sure? This will delete all your progress!” From there, you can select “Cancel” to keep your progress, or “OK” to reset all your progress. After clearing your progress, you’ll revert to only the first four elements of Water, Fire, Wind, and Earth.

Alternatively, you can clear your board of all your items and keep all your components. On the bottom right of the webpage is a whisk broom icon, beside the speaker icon to turn sound off or on, and the search bar. You can click the whisk broom icon to clear off the board but keep your progress.

With how complex many of Infinite Craft’s components are, it’s understandable that players want to ensure their progress is saved.
