How to Claim Deluxe Edition Pre-Order Content in Hogwarts Legacy

Does Hogwarts Legacy have House Specific Quests? – Answered

4 different ways of being a wizard

Picking a house is one of the most important moments in the life of a wizard in Hogwarts Legacy, but being locked out of content thanks to that is not that great. This is one of the main concerns of players before deciding between being sorted into Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw.

Each house is unique in its own regard, so each of them should also grant a unique experience to the players. Let’s see if that’s how it works in practice. Here you’ll find out if Hogwarts Legacy does or does not has special quests locked to specific houses.

Are There House-Specific Quests in Hogwarts Legacy? – Answered

Luckily for your FOMO, no. There are no house-specific quests in Hogwarts Legacy. Each of the houses’ companions can be befriended independently of your own house, and basically, all of the content in the game will be the same regardless of your house choice, with a few notable exceptions.

These exceptions are mostly found in certain dialogues which take your house into account, making for a slightly different experience in it. But in terms of content, there’s no real difference between picking Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, for example.

The most notable difference is actually found in a certain Main Story quest which will be fairly different depending on which house you picked. Its story and final resolution end up being basically the same for all houses, so it’s more of an extra detail than real missable content. However, a neat detail is that during the said quest, Hufflepuffs are the only ones that visit Askaban.

But if you’re looking for getting all achievements, you might take your time as there are 4 house-specific achievements (all obtained in the Main Quests), which means you cannot truly 100% this game without playing through it at least 4 different times.

Conveniently, there are 4 different save files waiting for you to fill them. If you do decide to play through it all 3 more different times, you’ll end up seeing all differences in that aforementioned quest in the way, so nothing will be missed in the end.
