Diablo 4 Moordaine Lodge Stronghold – Location, How to Beat, Rewards

The search party has begun.

Hunters have gone missing in Scosglen, and now they need your help to clear the Moordaine Lodge Stronghold in Diablo 4. Just like any other major stronghold, though, this area is full of dangerous enemies such as walking trees or druids, and I completed the full dungeon, so you know exactly how to make it through.

Where to Find the Moordaine Lodge in Diablo 4

Moordaine Lodge is located on the eastern coastline of Scosglen. This is one of the first strongholds you will encounter in the region, and it’s certainly the first one I completed after leaving Fractured Peaks. The Lodge and the northern tip of Fractured Peaks are fairly close together.

When you arrive at the Moordaine Ledge, make sure to loop around the right side of the main entrance and go through the northeastern gate. It brings you directly inside, and there will even be a hunter on the ground for you to discover almost instantly.

How to Find the Lodge’s Missing Hunters in Moordaine Lodge

Three hunters are missing in the lodge. One of them is easily found on the northern tip of the Moordaine Lodge. When you locate a hunter, simply interact with them and flip their body. Each hunter will be surrounded by hordes of enemies and giant walking trees.

The second hunter is located directly in the center of the stronghold within the broken-down lodge. You will know you are in the right place by the wargs surrounding the body. I missed the body here at first, but you can easily see the hunter in the center of the building.

For the last missing hunter, you must head all the way to the eastern tip of the Moordaine Lodge. This is the final hunter, and after interacting, you can move on to the final fight.

How to Defeat the Beast of Moordaine in Diablo 4

The Beast of Moordaine is aggressive, and it only gets worse as the fight goes on. At first, the beast will relentlessly pursue you with melee attacks. Simply hit and run until the first marker is gone from the health bar. Then Fionnir, The Mad Druid will appear.

Fionnir begins this phase as a human druid. He will cast all kinds of hurricanes and line attacks. Plus, plenty of minion beasts will jump into the arena. I had to run around the arena as much as possible during this fight. Standing still means hurricanes and beasts cornering you at nearly every opportunity.

The final phase of the fight will have Fionnir fighting as a Werebear in Diablo 4. You must save your dashes because if the Werebear gets close, he will slam down with a massive AOE. But you have enough time to dodge. Utilize the beasts to get health potions back and burn Fionnir the best you can.

Moordaine Lodge Rewards in Diablo 4

As a reward, I was given sturdy armor pieces and the guaranteed 100 Renown for Scosglen. The armor drops are random and you have a higher chance of a Legendary. However, it’s not always guaranteed. It’s really about the Renown, though.

For more strongholds in Scosglen in Diablo 4, make sure to check out the Tur Dulra stronghold for even more Renown and another challenging dungeon.
