Diablo 4: How to Solve the Reject the Mother Quest Riddle

The Reject the Mother quest in Diablo 4 is one of many that requires emoting in front of a structure or statue in exchange for a chest reward. There are many of these in the game, and while they don’t take long to complete, finding the correct answer to the riddle can take a while. In my opinion, this is one of the most challenging riddle quests in the game! Fortunately, I found the answer and am here to share it with you. Reject the Mother Quest Riddle Solution in Diablo 4

When you first interact with the book east of Ked Bardu and begin the Reject the Mother quest, you’ll spot the following riddle:

“Shout your rejection, “no Mother of mine” at her towering statue in rift’s hidden shrine.”

To solve this riddle and finish the mission, head to the quest marker and stand in front of the Lilith statue before using the No emote. Once you use the emote, a treasure chest will appear next to you, marking the end of the Reject the Mother quest.

How to Use Emotes in Diablo 4

To assign and use the No emote in front of the Lilith statue, you’ll have to head into your emote wheel and select it, leading to your character saying the word and finishing the quest. If you don’t see the emote, you’ll find it in the customization menu using the steps below:

• Go into Customize
• Pick the Emotes tab and scroll through until you see “No”
• Select the No emote and assign it to one of the slots in your emote wheel.
• Save your changes

Doing this allows you to use the No Emote whenever you’d like, including during this quest!
