Diablo 4: How to Get Platinum

Grinding won't help you here.

Diablo 4 has plenty of armor styles for you to collect as you explore Sanctuary, but there is a separate shop as well that gives you the option to purchase some premium cosmetics. This shop requires you to use Platinum for any of the purchases you want, and I have all the prices outlined for you in this guide.

How to Get Platinum in Diablo 4

The only way to get Platinum is to spend real money on Diablo 4. Two methods exist for getting a hold of the premium currency, but no matter which method you rely on, some real-world cash is required. For example, the Battle Pass will have tiers that reward players with around 100 Platinum coins. However, you must spend at least $10 to get the standard pass, so the money is still required.

Even with the Battle Pass, you can only earn 1,000 Platinum. Many of the items in the store will be at 1,500 Platinum or higher in Diablo 4, with some sets even selling for 2,800. Below is the pricing chart for Platinum and some of the offers for the currency in the shop.

Diablo 4 Platinum Prices:

  • 200 Platinum – $1.99
  • 500 Platinum – $4.99
  • 800 Platinum – $7.99
  • 1,000 Platinum – $9.99
  • 2,800 Platinum – $24.99
  • 5,700 Platinum – $49.99
  • 11,500 Platinum – $99.99

The larger bundles for the premium currency will give a handful of extra coins. Purchasing the $100 bundle gives an extra 1,500 for those willing to throw that much cash into the shop. Most of the time, though, 100 Platinum coins are equivalent to $1. This has been the pricing model for most live service games at this point, and it’s essentially what games like Call of Duty also use.
