Destiny 2 Sunset Echoes Emblem – How to Get This Emblem
The Sunset Echoes emblem was given out at a fan event that was held for Destiny 2 in Madrid. Unless you’re a frequent jetsetter or you were in the country, you likely missed out on this exclusive. Well, that’s not a problem. The Destiny 2 Reddit community has discovered that if you follow Bungie’s Weibo page, it gives you a link to a key generator for the Sunset Echoes emblem.
According to user MasterWanky, there’s one of two different types of captcha activities for you to complete on the site:
- You click on some Chinese characters in a picture in the order that they appear as a caption
- Match a puzzle piece with a missing space in an image using a slider
Once you complete one of the above captchas, you might be given a 502 error. Some people have gotten stuck at this step, but it looks like other community members are suggesting some solutions. If you’ve completed the captcha and you aren’t getting a code spat out, a hard refresh has worked for some Guardians. For others, using a VPN has helped them get past the error. Another solution has been to apparently check the response payload of the URL. Essentially, you can keep plugging away at this until you get the code through using one of the above methods which have been tried and tested by community members wanting to get their hands on the Destiny 2 Sunset Echoes emblem. Once you’ve got it in hand, you can redeem it at Bungie’s code redemption portal here.
Now that you know what we do about getting this exclusive emblem, go and give it a shot! The errors that the page initially spits out are a definite sign that Bungie’s caught on to everyone redeeming these codes, but it looks like persistence is still rewarding the lucky.
