If you’re experiencing this sign-in blocked error, the official Bungie Help Twitter account has created a fix for players.
- Select “My games & apps”
- Select “Manage”
- Select “Updates
- For all Destiny 2 tiles that appear, select each and then Update. Once the updates are complete, Destiny 2 can be launched
After launching Destiny 2, if you see any “There’s an upgrade!” screens:
- Select the Upgrade button
- Wait for the update to complete
- Quit Destiny 2
- Relaunch Destiny 2
- Repeat these steps until no more upgrade screens appear

After completing this, you should be able to log into Destiny 2. Now, since Lightfall is here, it might be difficult to try and get into the game. Of course, this will sort itself out as the servers balance out and the player count levels out.
