This article will show you how to unlock the Exo Suit in Dead Rising 4. Dead Rising 4 brings a whole host of new additions to the zombie-killing series, with one of the enjoyable additions being the Exo Suit. With the Exo Suit, you are able to kill zombies at a faster rate and become nigh invincible while doing so.
How to Unlock the Exo Suit in Dead Rising 4
To unlock the Exo Suit in Dead Rising 4, you will need to follow the story mission until you leave the Willamette Memorial Megaplex. Once you leave the mall and follow the story into Old Town, the Exo Suits will become available. The Exo Suits are available through caches in the world labelled “Exo Suit”. These caches can be found in supply crates, on the ground, and tucked away in secret locations.
After you use the Exo Suit for the first time, you will be able to find them in all locations across Dead Rising 4. You will be able to return to Willamette Memorial Megaplex and find the Exo Suits.
Most of the time, Exo Suits can be found in the massive shipping crates that are being defended by Obscuris mercenaries. Clear out the mercenaries to gain access to the Exo Suit.
Tips for Using the Exo Suit
While you are practically unstoppable in the Exo Suit, there are still some tips you can use to become even more powerful.
When using the Exo Suit in Dead Rising 4, you have unlimited Stamina, meaning you can run forever without slowing down to catch your breath. If you have no vehicles around and need to reach another location quickly and happen across an Exo Suit, slap it on and charge ahead. You are also able to run through packs of zombies without getting slowed down.
The Exo Suit only lasts for 2 minutes before it falls apart, so use those moments wisely and keep an eye on the charge meter so you know how long you have before you become more vulnerable.
If you find that you don’t have enough physical power from the Exo Suit, look out for Ammunition Power Up boxes around the map. These crates add more guns, missiles and melee weapons to your Exo Suit.
In Dead Rising 4, there are objects that can only be interacted with while wearing the Exo Suit. When interacted with, objects like the Slushie Machines attach more unconventional weapons to your Exo Suit. These items are highlighted by a purple icon, so keep an eye out for them when wearing an Exo Suit.
Lastly, any time the lights on the back of the Exo Suit are purple, it means the Exo Suit will not run out of charge. This typically happens when an Exo Suit is given to you as part of a mission, such as when you’re fighting a boss or clearing out a base. Once the objective is complete, the lights will shift back to the standard blue.
That’s all you need to know about the Exo Suit in Dead Rising 4. It’s a powerful piece of zombie-killing tech that is extremely fun to use. Keep your eyes peeled for the Exo Suit crates around the map to help you on your journey to uncover the mystery of the zombie outbreak.
