Dead Island: How to Change your Outfit

If you purchased the Gold, Deluxe, or HELL-A Addition of the zombie massacre simulator, Dead Island 2, you know you should already have a cool outfit in your wardrobe. Amy, our resident track runner, gets Character Pack 2, which gives her the cyberpunk Neurunner Skin and double katanas.

Jacob, who is distinctively stylish and decadent, as the Silver Star pack. And that includes the Rodeo Sunset suit and the unique claws, The Devil’s Horseshoes.

But how do you put your outfits on? The answer is you cannot. Yet.

As of right now, these are the only cosmetics available for your Slayers (I am weeping as someone who plays Carla). But if you want to try them out, well, the Dead Island 2 Twitter Account has some bad news.

They have tweeted the following: “If you pre-order the Gold/Deluxe/HELL-A Edition, you’ll receive bonus character packs for Amy and Jacob. They will be available for download soon after release. We’re aiming to deliver character packs to Gold/Deluxe/HELL-A Edition owners in the summer.”

Many people in the comments are understandably upset. Summer is around two months away and it is likely many people will not be playing by then.

But when those outfits do come, you will just need to go into the menu, select Slayer, and then the ability to customize your outfits will be available.

Sorry you cannot wear your cool outfit now. Can I interest you in some great tips that will keep you alive in Hell-A? Check them out here: Dead Island 2: 5 Essential Tips You Need to Know Before You Play.
