There’s a lot to see around LA and the various areas the team at Dambsuter Studios has crafted for Dead Island 2. So here is how long it is to beat Dead Island 2.

Dead Island 2: How Long to Beat

Dead Island 2 takes around 13 hours to complete the main story scenario. You’ll have to reach multiple different locations from Venice Beach to Bel-Air. While you’ll likely get sidetracked along the way with collectibles, new weapons, and side quests, if you try to stay on the main path, you’ll be somewhere in the ballpark of 13 hours, give or take an hour.

The main quests of Dead Island 2 is not super long, and if you don’t struggle on some of the boss fights, you could even finish it faster.

If you’re looking to complete every side quest, collect all of the Lost and Found items, and make out your slayer, you’re looking at another 15 hours or so. So if you want to 100% Dead Island 2, it will likely take around 30 to 35 hours to do so.

Luckily, there’s a handy list in the pause menu under the “stats” section that will show your total progress across all of the areas of the game. You’ll always know exactly where you’re at for the 100% completion rate.

Of course, everyone plays games at different paces, so take this as a suggestion rather than a hard fact. You might play through each area more meticulously, combing over every single area, while others zip in, drop-kick some zombies, and escape with the goods.
