Cyberpunk 2077: How to Romance Judy

Just be nice to her.

Judy Alvarez is one of the pivotal characters in Cyberpunk 2077, who you meet when working for Evelyn Parker during the main story mission, The Information. Judy becomes an important part of the story as you keep completing story missions, eventually getting to the point where you can help her with her side missions and make her a long-time partner. This guide will help you with that by listing the requirements and dialogue options that will give you the option to romance Judy in Cyberpunk 2077.

You can only romance Judy if you are a female V with a female body type. You also need to have completed all the story missions involving Judy, completed all of her side missions, and selected the correct dialogue options during the quests.

Main Jobs

Although the main jobs do not have much effect on your chances of romancing Judy, certain dialogue options will give you extra dialogues in future missions.

When arriving at Lizzie’s Bar, you will have the option to be honest with Judy or not to tell her anything. Being honest with her will gain her trust even more, but it will not affect your romance chances.

After the final main mission involving Judy, Double Life, is completed, you will get a phone call from her after 24 in-game hours, which will trigger Judy’s questline.

Side Jobs

There are a total of five side jobs that you will have to complete for her, where you have to seek revenge for Evelyn’s death from the Tyger Claws clan. This is the point where you will have to choose the correct dialogue option and make the right choices, considering what’s best for Judy.

Both Sides, Now

The first side job starts when you receive a call from Judy after completing the Double Life story mission. Judy will ask you to come to her apartment and help her with Evelyn Parker, who has committed suicide after her incident with the Tyger Claws.

There are no particular dialogue options to choose from that will lead to romance. Just agree to help Judy and head to her apartment. This will lead to the next mission.

You will then receive a text message named “EV’s Send Off” after 12 in-game hours have passed, followed by a phone call six hours later if you reply to her text. On the call, Judy will ask you to help her in getting revenge for Evelyn. Choose the option to help her for the next mission to unlock.

However, if you decline to help her with the situation, you will no longer receive Judy’s future side jobs. Make sure to agree on helping her if you want to romance Judy.

Talking Bout A Revolution

Judy will invite you to her apartment to meet with Tom, Roxanne, and Maiko and make a plan. After the conversation ends and they leave, you will be left alone with Judy. She will want to pay you for help but kindly decline her offer. The relic will start malfunctioning and Judy will offer you to sleep at her apartment for the night.

Agree to her offer and stay the night there. There won’t be any romance for now.

Pisces

Pisces is the most crucial side mission in getting close to Judy, and this is where your choices will matter. You will receive a text and a phone call, each after 24 in-game hours have passed. You will then head to the penthouse where Hiromi Sato, the owner of the Clouds Club, lives.

When in Hiromi’s office, you will have to pick the following options:

  • Let’s do this.
  • Who’re the other two?
  • This wasn’t the plan.
  • Hold on. Think you’ve gone too far.
  • [Draw weapon] Let’s cut to the quick.

You will now have to kill everyone in the room other than Maiko. After killing them, go and talk to Maiko. You can either talk her out of it or kill her right there. Whatever you choose afterward will not affect your chances of romance with Judy.

Even if you go with Maiko’s plan, you will unlock the last side job. But if you do accept Maiko’s bribe in the end, Judy will not be happy with you. She will leave Night City and even remove you from her contacts.

After completing the previous side job and waiting for 24 in-game hours, you will get a phone call from Judy to meet her somewhere. Agree to go on a date with her. When you meet with her, agree to go sea diving with her. She will then invite you to her cabin, to which you will agree.

Once at the cabin, turn on the generator and head to the bathroom to check on Judy. When the dialogue options appear, choose the following options:

  • We’re still synced.
  • [Touch] It is ours.

This will lead to an intimate scene between Judy and V. When you wake up in the morning, head to the dock and talk to Judy. She will ask what last night meant to you. Choosing the “The beginning of something amazing” dialogue option will start a long-term relationship with Judy.

You will now get keys to Judy’s apartment and can visit her whenever you like. After any ending that you get, other than the suicide one, you will get a special pre-recorded message from Judy in the ending credits scene.
