Best Idol Mods to Use in Path of Exile Legacy of Phrecia

The best Idol affixes would contain more than one affix that synergizes with a league mechanic. For example, having an Idol that has the following affixes would be one of the best Idols for a Delirium farming strategy:
- Your Maps have (15–25)% chance to contain a Mirror of Delirium
- Delirium Bosses in your Maps drop (20–30)% increased Simulacrum Splinters
- Delirium Monsters in your Maps have (5–10)% increased Pack Size
Getting every Idol with the same level of synergy will save you several Idol slots so you can put more useful combinations and maybe add one or two more league mechanics like Breach or Beyond.
However, some affixes are always good when combined with almost any league mechanic. Here are a few examples:
- (5–10)% increased Scarabs found in your Maps.
- Your Maps contain (3–5)% more Monster Packs consisting of difficult and rewarding Monsters.
- Your Maps have +(7–10)% chance to contain a Shrine
- Tier 1-15 Maps found have a (5–10)% chance to become 1 tier higher
- Map Bosses have (40–60)% increased chance to drop a Conqueror Map
- (2–3)% increased Maps found in Area
If you notice, these are mostly prefixes, but they are generally good all the time. They all add value to your maps regardless of what league mechanic you are running. The perfect way to create your own Idol farming set is to have a lot of these modifiers with a few Idols that have prefixes containing mechanics you want to run on your map, like “Your Maps have (15–25)% chance to contain a Mirror of Delirium.”
Apart from these affixes, some unique Idols have unique modifiers that never roll on magic or rare Idols. These are some of the best Idols, and you sometimes center your whole farming strategy around them, like Twisted Fate or Destructive Play.
They could be hard to find, but you can always buy them from the trade site if you are playing on Softcore. If they are too expensive, you could still save up for them because the best ones are expensive for a reason. You’ll make your money back if you invest in them, as long as you consistently farm during the Legacy of Phrecia event.
