Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty expansion brings a lot of new content to explore, including plenty of new weapons and an entirely new location to explore. Most interesting of the bunch is its characters, who each have some unique personalities and plenty of depth. With how much depth they have, you might be wondering about potential new romance options. Here’s whether you can romance Songbird in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.
Is it Possible to Romance Songbird in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty?
As much as it’s sad to say, you can’t romance Songbird with the new Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. In fact, you can’t romance anyone new with the expansion. The core four romances are still Judy, River, Kerry, and Panam, with no one like Reed, Songbird, Alex, or anyone else being added in.
The furthest you can go with any of the characters in the expansion is to become allies or enemies with them, based on the choices you make. Typically, helping Songbird will anger both Alex and Reed. On the opposite end, going with Alex and Reed could cause Songbird to lose trust in you. It’s something that’ll have a genuine effect on the story, so you’ll need to be careful with what you choose.
With this all being said, that doesn’t stop there from being tidbits of new content for your existing romances. While completing the many side jobs added with the expansion, the romanceable NPCs can have a hand in things here and there. For example, I had a mission where two Barghest members needed help, and I was able to contact Judy, Panam, or River. Since I romanced Panam, her and I had a little more to say than business. It isn’t anything remarkable, but it’s nice that they don’t just disappear the minute you enter Dogtown.
