Can You Send Skins As A Gift In Dead By Daylight?

No matter if you’re browsing through the Survivors or Killers, there is currently no option to send a skin as a gift to a friend. While other big games like Fortnite allow purchases like this to happen, it seems that you may need to find an alternate way to get someone that skin they’ve been looking at for quite some time.

However, if you’re playing on the Steam platform, you can send Gift Copies of particular DLC packs, some of which may include cosmetics. The most recent survivor release, Nicolas Cage, includes some special outfits only available if you purchase him via DLC, compared to buying him from the shop with Auric Cells. If you’re hoping to start a friend off on the right foot with a new Survivor or Killer, that is always an option.

While it may be unfortunate that the shop is a little foggy when it comes to purchasing gifts for your friends, there are always ways around it. Sending someone the cash through an app like Paypal or Venmo to purchase some Auric Cells is a great way to help someone get their new favorite skin in the game. With most of the good skins costing around $10, it’s a fairly inexpensive way to get someone a nice gift.

With the number of skins growing by the day, it’s only time until you are tempted enough by the Greek Legends pack to get your hands on a few skins of your own.
