Can You Get More Repair Kits in Armored Core 6 (AC6)?

If you’ve played a FromSoftware game in the past 10 years, you know that your primary healing item is your most valuable resource for survival. In Armored Core 6, that resource comes in the form of Repair Kits, and you only have three of them available to use when starting your first missions. As the encounters get tougher and tougher, you may find yourself using those repair kits faster than you anticipate. Is it possible to get more than three Repair Kits in Armored Core 6? Can You Hold More Repair Kits in Armored Core 6?

Unfortunately, you cannot increase the number of Repair Kits available in Armored Core 6. This means you’ll have to play smart and minimize the amount of damage you take within each mission. There is, however, some relief in regard to healing yourself.

Firstly, resupply stations within specific missions will restock not just your ammo, but also all your repair kits. This allows you a little bit of breathing room in longer missions where you might need more than three repair kits to get by.

Should you reach a checkpoint within a mission and fail, you will also replenish all of your ammo and repair kits when you retry.

Additionally, you can increase the potency of your Repair Kits through the OS Tuning system in the game.

How to Increase Healing in Armored Core 6

To increase the amount of healing done by your Repair Kits, you can simply upgrade them using the OS Tuning system and OST Chips. If you haven’t done so yet, check out our guide on how to unlock Arena mode and the OS Tuning system.

Within the OS Tuning menu, find the Damage Control tab and the Repair Kits – Optimization option. You’ll be able to upgrade the effectiveness of your Repair Kits up to four times through this menu, allowing your healing to increase from 4,000 AP to a total of 6,000 AP. Each upgrade increases your Repair Kit potency and costs OST Chips.
