Can You Exfil the Shillelagh Sniper in COD DMZ? – Answered

It's not skittles at the end.

Season 2 Reloaded promised the addition of a new marksman rifle in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and the DMZ mode, but we didn’t expect to get a new one-shot sniper. The Shillelagh Sniper has become available as part of the Saint Patrick’s Day event, and without a doubt, some players will want to extract it for themselves.

So far, every weapon that has been added to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 has been available to exfil with in the DMZ mode. However, we haven’t seen any event weapons like this. To save you some time, or spark your next deployment, we’ll cover whether you can exfil with the Shillelagh Sniper or not in this guide.

COD DMZ – Can You Extract the Shillelagh Sniper

Any mode that features the Al Mazrah map will have access to the Saint Patrick’s Day event, and the rainbow that has been appearing in the game. That means you can follow the end of the rainbow in the DMZ mode, and when you reach the end, you’ll be greeted by a pile of event-themed loot boxes.

These boxes contain plenty of loot such as cash, weapons, and killstreaks. What we really want is the Shillelagh Sniper, and that can be found in these boxes as well. But you may need to make the most of it while you can. For now, it appears that you can’t exfil the genuine Shillelagh Sniper from the DMZ. Instead, you keep a standard Victus XMR when you get back to the lobby.

While it’s disappointing, it’s also incredibly powerful, and it could cause some serious issues if players filled their stash with a one-shot event sniper. They could theoretically continue using the weapon well after the event is over, of have other players pick them up. So simply have fun with it in Warzone 2 or the DMZ while the event is here.
