The famous Battle Royale game of Fortnite has officially entered its next chapter with the arrival of Chapter 2 Season 3, taking place on Wednesday, June 17th. This new period of content has added a treasure trove of new things and items for players to experience and use in their quest for Victory Royales. One of these new Chapter 2 Season 3 items are cars. Fortunately, we have all of the currently known information about these new cars and whether or not you can drive them covered for you.

Can You Drive Cars in Fortnite?

Now, members of the community will find that when they see some of the cars on the new map of Chapter 2 Season 3 that they can not currently drive these newly added vehicles. They can be found when you are playing but are not available at this moment for players to get into and drive around the map.  The reasoning for this is that the majority of the map for Chapter 2 Season 3 is covered in water.

However, data miners in the community had revealed that the water covering portions of the Chapter 2 Season 3 map will begin to rescind and uncover new areas of land. Epic Games will likely allow players to drive the cars that are now included in the game sometime later on during Chapter 2 Season 3.

It seems that players will have an array of choices when it comes to the kind of vehicles that they will be driving during this season of Fortnite.

No doubt, being able to drive cars will add an exciting and entertaining aspect to the world of Fortnite when the ability to drive cars is provided to players sometime later on in the future. This will likely follow the community having enough time to enjoy everything the new aquatic world has to offer in its current form.
