Can the Lienna 57 be Unlocked in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded? – Answered

Locked and reloaded.

Two new weapons were added to Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Reloaded when the new update dropped on September 28. Both the BP50 assault rifle and the Lienna 57 light machine gun have arrived in one way or another, but the LMG in particular is giving players some problems.

While the BP50 can be easily unlocked by getting some ACOG Optic kills, there is no additional challenge for the Lienna 57. So far, it seems like the latest light machine gun is still locked, despite it appearing in other parts of Vanguard and Warzone Season 5. We’ll go over why the weapon can’t be unlocked and how to use it in the meantime.

Warzone Season 5 Reloaded – Can the Lienna 57 be Unlocked?

As of now, the Lienna 57 can’t be unlocked. While Warzone Season 5 Reloaded may have advertised both new weapons appearing on the same day, there were some changes. According to Raven Software on Twitter, the new LMG will not appear until later in the season. That means loadouts using the Lienna are entirely out of the question for the battle royale modes.

However, there are still ways to use the weapon if you’re itching to try it out. The Lienna 57 has been confirmed as ground loot in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded, so it can still be picked up and used as a random weapon. You won’t be able to customize the LMG at all, but it at least gives you a chance to try it out. Vanguard players can also try out the weapon and all of its attachments in a private match for Multiplayer.

Though Raven Software kept the release date vague, the Lienna 57 has to show up within the next few weeks. Modern Warfare 2 is less than a month away at this point and Warzone 2.0 will follow shortly after. So in the meantime, test out the BP50 and prepare for one last weapon to drop in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded.
