Can Elden Ring be Played on Steam Deck? – Answered

If you’ve been one of the lucky few to get a Steam Deck, you’re probably spending hours poring over your library for “Verified” titles. I have over 90 games in my library, for example. One of the biggest releases this year is Elden Ring, which has dominated the gamer hivemind and came out around the same time as the console. But does Elden Ring run on Steam Deck?

Yeah, you can run Elden Ring on Steam Deck. It’s even Verified, meaning you’ll be able to see it in the Steam Deck’s bespoke store menu with a green check. Love those green checks. What does Verified mean, though? Basically, it means Valve has concluded the game in question runs on Steam Deck in a perfectly playable capacity right outta the box. No tweaking needed.

Now, that doesn’t mean your Elden Ring experience is going to rival that on someone’s desktop rig. You’ll be playing the game at around 720p/30 fps, but consistently and reliably. Which is frankly kind of a feat for Elden Ring’s… not super stable PC version.

If you’re trying to keep up with Verified Steam Deck games, you can check out the “Great on Deck” section on the Steam store.
