Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Double XP – Preseason XP Bonuses

If you’ve been cracking into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare then you’ll be aware that we’re not that far away from Season 1 officially kicking off. With cool new things like the Gunfight Tournament also coming to the game, there’s not been a better time to get invested and to start leveling up. Luckily, Infinity Ward is on the same page and granting players a nice bonus. Here’s what we know about the upcoming Modern Warfare double XP period.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Double XP – Preseason XP Bonuses

Season 1 is something that Infinity Wars definitely wants us to jump into both feet first, so they’ve now announced a double XP event. It’s not just for a weekend, mind you. It’s going to go from November 27 to December 2, so you’ve actually got a number of days with which to make sure that you’re getting the better of Officer Progression.

You might already have a code for Double XP tokens, but we would definitely recommend holding on to those until after December 2. The reason for this is that the XP token bonuses aren’t going to stack with the native one that’s being provided as part of the double XP initiative that will be in Modern Warfare for this special lead up to Season 1, so your tokens will honestly just be wasted if you use them now.

According to Activision, once Season 1 started, any Rank that you manage to catapult yourself to before it starts will be memorialized forever. How cool’s that? Plus, if you’re dedicated and hit the Officer Ranks (56 and upwards), you’ll have that Rank refreshed and have a new opportunity to get all the way up to Rank 155.

Now that you know a little bit more about the Modern Warfare Double XP initiative that’s already well underway, it’s time to hop into the game with some mates and to actually make the most of it.
