Call of Duty: Modern Warfare ISO SMG Unlock and Attachments Guide

What you need to know about the new ISO SMG.

Season 5 is officially live in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and that means a whole lot of new stuff to dive into. Major highlights include several new maps on the Modern Warfare side, and some pretty serious expansion to the Verdansk area for Warzone. But there’s also a new Battle Pass, and that means there are some new weapons to try out. Both the AN-94 assault rifle and ISO submachine gun have made their debuts in Modern Warfare for Season 5, and they both seem like rad weapons. Let’s start with the ISO SMG

Infinity Ward describes the ISO SMG as a tool designed to “control” matches, meaning it’s set up to be a formidable option at close range. It has a high rate of fire and likely doesn’t include a ton of drawbacks, other than needing to get up close to really do damage with it. It seems like the ISM SMG will be especially handy in the new Suldal Harbor map, as that arena’s design is all about tight corners and chokepoints.

Luckily, getting a hold of the ISO SMG is pretty easy. You don’t even have to pay for the premium version of the Battle Pass. There’s a bit of grinding involved, but you’ll get the scrappy little murder machine once you reach Tier 15 on the Battle Pass. Considering the Battle Pass has 100 Tiers overall, that isn’t a bad first step to reach for a new gun to play around with. And once you get it you can work on tricking it out to your liking.
