How to Download Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Data Pack 1
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has received its latest update, and it has brought plenty of changes to the first-person shooter. However, this update was different in regards to how players can successfully implement it to continue playing the title.
This different nature for the new Modern Warfare update has caused some frustration in the community, as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players are confused as to what Data Pack 1 is and why they need to download it to play. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know about Data Pack 1 in Modern Warfare covered for you.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Data Pack 1
Those who have not downloaded Data Pack 1 will see that they do not have access to the Modern Warfare multiplayer, campaign, or spec ops game modes. They will only be able to play the Battle Royale game mode of Warzone in Modern Warfare without Data Pack 1.
Individuals who are missing Data Pack 1 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will need to move over the multiplayer, campaign, or spec ops game modes and see that it will ask you to please install what game mode you are hovering over. Click on this, and you will be taken to a different screen. Select Data Pack 1 and download it.
The game will then ask you to restart it to apply the Data Pack 1 download, which should then allow you to play the multiplayer, campaign, and spec ops game modes for Modern Warfare in addition to the Warzone Battle Royale.
The download for this additional component of the game’s latest update is around 18 GB, so players that are near the very end of their storage will need to clear a tad bit of space if they want to be able to play the other three game modes.
The Data Pack 1 download is only needed for players playing on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. PC players do not have to worry about making sure they download Data Pack 1 to play the game’s campaign, multiplayer, and spec ops game modes.
