Borderlands 3 Vault Insider Program End Date – What We Know

According to the official Borderlands 3 website, the Vault Insider program is going to come to its end on May 18 2020. We’ve definitely had a good run of things with what the team at Gearbox has noted as three full seasons of celebrating everything related to Borderlands 3 the only way that we can: with a whole ton of loot and tons of things to shoot.

However, those who have been participating avidly in this program are probably going to feel its absence. If you’re wondering what’s going to happen when the fateful date of May 18 rolls around, we’ve got it laid out for you. First, all Vault Insider Program (VIP) profiles will be disabled forever and any points that you haven’t redeemed will be forfeit. Forever. You won’t be able to spend your VIP points retroactively once the end date of the program has gone, but it’s fair game up until then so you’ve got another two months or so to farm up VIP points for rewards and to amass as much Borderlands 3 clout as you could want before having to hang up those boots for good.

We’re not sure if there’s going to be a program to replace what Gearbox has done with the Borderlands 3 Vault Insider Program, but it was definitely a great way to build hype leading up to the release of the game and we reckon it’ll be a bit of a shame to have no true method of rewarding hardcore fans for the grind with limited-edition rewards. I mean, how sick does the Oni Zane head look? Only time will tell! Need a hand with anything else to do with Vault Hunting? Check out these other guides that we’ve put together:
