If you’ve been enjoying the action of Borderlands 3, whether it’s with mates or solo, then you’re probably also looking forward to experiencing even more of its wackiness as time goes on. If you’re after more of Mad Moxxi, we don’t blame you. Apart from being smoking hot and always toting a deadly amount of weaponry, she’s probably the epitome of boss lady energy. Sure, she dated Handsome Jack, but who hasn’t got a couple of ruggedly attractive, sociopathic skeletons in their relationship closet?
In fact, that same ruggedly attractive, sociopathic skeleton is why the Moxxi DLC is coming to Borderlands 3 in the first place. Handsome Jack’s casino, the narcissistically-named Handsome Jackpot, was actually designed by Moxxi and unsurprisingly, he never gave her any credit for it. Now that he’s dead, her idea of closure is to head to the Jackpot and to take it back for herself.
The Borderlands 3 Moxxi DLC release date is currently slated for December 19. If you already have the Borderlands 3 season pass, then you’ll have access to it. Otherwise, you can purchase it separately. However, to actually enjoy the content, you can’t just be grinding it out straightaway on a new toon. Vault Hunters are going to have to have cleared at least the fifth episode of the main story in Borderlands to be eligible for this content.
