If you've been keeping some tabs on Borderlands 3, you'll know that today's a rather auspicious day - there's a planned Borderlands 3 hotfix for January 30. This is going to bring about a new event, and it's also going to address some other issues that have been bothering Vault Hunters recently. Here's our rundown of the Borderlands 3 hotfix notes for the January 30 patch.
Borderlands 3 Hotfix Notes for January 30 Patch
According to Gearbox, the most recent Borderlands 3 hotfix is supposed to have been successfully rolled out across all platforms where players will be looting and shooting by the time 3pm Pacific Time rolls around on January 30.
Judging from what we've seen so far, the patch notes for this hotfix are actually pretty limited and the main draw that it's meant to have implemented is the Rare Chest Riches event which is going to run until February 13. We've replicated the Borderlands 3 hotfix notes below for you in full:
BORDERLANDS 3 HOTFIX: JANUARY 30, 2020
- Activated the Rare Chest Riches event, running until February 13
- Increased the chance to receive Legendary loot from red car trunk chests
- Addressed a reported issue that the player could sometimes rise into the sky with the cannon during the "One Man's Treasure" mission in Moxxi's Heist of The Handsome Jackpot
While there haven't been any notable bug fixes, it also looks like players haven't encountered anything particularly gamebreaking recently so we can see why the biggest thing to be concerned about this January 30 patch is actually going to be more event goodness for us to look forward to.
Now that you know as much as we do about the Borderlands 3 hotfix notes for the January 30 patch, you can start building that anticipation for the upcoming Rare Chest Riches event which we're going to find out more about for you very soon.
