VEL 46 MW2

While we lost another assault rifle option for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play in the Season 2 Reloaded update, we gained a second meta option for the submachine gun class. The Lachmann Sub could never live up to the potential the Vaznev-9k has, but the VEL 46 was buffed and is offering some competition.

In the reloaded update, the classic MP7 was given an increase in close-range damage and it has become as dangerous as Shredder himself in close quarters. This is the perfect weapon for players that love to run and gun, so we’ll cover what you need for the best build in Ranked.

COD MW2 Ranked Play – Best VEL 46 Loadout Season 2 Reloaded

The build for the MP7 will be similar to the Vaznev-9k but we want to utilize all of our slots. Some of the ADS and recoil control benefits will also be swapped around. The goal is for the weapon to be super snappy and feel controllable at close to medium range. Each of the necessary attachments can be found below.

VEL 46 Ranked Play Loadout:

  • Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Sync Shot Grip
  • Rear Grip: Schlager Soldier Grip
  • Stock: Assault-60 Stock
  • Magazine: 30 Round Mag

There are three attachments on this build that will help with recoil control. We have the Bruen Pendulum muzzle, the Bruen Sync Shot Grip underbarrel, and the Assault-60 Stock. If you feel that the weapon is slow, you can use the Edge-47 Grip instead of the Bruen Sync and remove the muzzle entirely.

For our mobility pieces, we want the 30 Round Mag and the Schlager Soldier Grip on the VEL 46. These are integral to the loadout in COD MW2 Ranked Play and you’ll want to keep both of these in your build if possible.
