There are a few light machine guns that are at the top of the meta in Warzone 2, and one of those is the Sakin MG38. Due to the raw power and ammo capacity that these weapons have, many players are using them as their crutch primaries to drop as many kills as possible in each round.

One of the only drawbacks to the light machine guns is the lack of control and in some cases, overall mobility. Control is the main issue though, and luckily, we can fix that with the right additions to our Sakin MG38. We’ll go over all of the attachments you need in Warzone 2 and the purpose each one serves.

Warzone 2 Season 1 – Best Sakin MG38 Loadout

Most light machine guns in Al Mazrah are built the same way as normal assault rifles. Enhancing the base damage range and the bullet velocity is the main focus, so that distance fighting is easy. Then we add some control pieces to make the recoil non-existent. All of the attachments you need can be found below.

  • Receiver: Sakin MG38
  • Barrel: Bruen Silver Series Barrel
  • Muzzle: Polarfire-S
  • Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip
  • Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip Wrap
  • Optic: Aim OP-V4

The barrel attachments are fairly straightforward in terms of stats, and they follow the same trend as most other weapons. Both the Bruen Silver Series Barrel and the Polarfire-S muzzle will help with all of the ranged stats we need. Expect plenty of damage range, recoil smoothness, and bullet velocity on the Sakin MG38.

Next, we want to add the Phase-3 Grip on the underbarrel slot. Players are just now beginning to use this attachment because of the recoil control and accuracy it provides. On top of the additional control, it won’t hurt the weapon’s mobility as much as some of the larger grips in Warzone 2.

After the underbarrel, we need a rear grip that helps with ADS speed. For that, we use the Bruen Q900 Grip Wrap. Lasers are a good replacement, but they are easy to spot. Along with the wrap, it’s important to have a good sight. Many players are using the Aim OP-V4 due to the lack of visual recoil, but any reflex sight will work.
