Agility Attribute

The best perks to start with in the Agility Attribute are Parkour or Deep Cuts. Parkour provides players with a higher safe fall distance and reduced jumping stamina, while Deep Cuts makes knives and machetes deal more damage with bleeding. Parkour can be a lifesaver to get away from zombies hordes effectively, though Deep Cuts allows players to also find bladed weapons in loot more easily.

Fortitude Attribute

The best perks to start with in the Fortitude Attribute are Healing Factor or Rule 1: Cardio. Healing Factor gives health regeneration, and Rule 1: Cardio triggers stamina regeneration when sprinting. The choice is between being able to heal naturally versus running away a bit longer.

Intellect Attribute

The Intellect perk to start with is The Daring Adventurer. The perk unlocks more items at traders and the ability to earn 5% more currency. This can be key to getting some good items early on with an expanded catalog.

Perception Attribute

The best Perception perk to start with is Lucky Looter. It offers a 5% bonus to finding better loot alongside making looting 10% faster.

Strength Attribute

The best Strength perk to choose at the beginning is Miner 69er. The perk can increase tool damage, reduce stamina while using tools, and find more tools in loot. This is a gathering and crafting game, so being able to do both faster is key to having stockpiles.
