Best MX9 Loadout in Warzone 2 Season 1

The sleeper hit SMG.

So, you’re testing out some new submachine guns in Warzone 2 and you’ve made your way to the MX9. You’re in luck because this SMG has become one of the most underrated in the meta and it’s quickly popping up on the radar of many battle royale players due to the stats it offers.

Even in the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, the MX9 is fantastic but seems to fly under the radar. It plays like a slightly faster STB 556 with many of the same benefits. There’s a reason players are using this to get a slight edge over other submachine guns like the Fennec 45. In this loadout guide, we’ll go over all the attachments you need to make the most of the Bruen SMG variant.

Warzone 2 Season 1 – Best MX9 Loadout

Compared to other submachine gun builds for Al Mazrah, this one doesn’t stray too far from the beaten path. We know what pieces go well with the SMGs in Warzone 2 and the same rules apply to the MX9. Below you can find all of the necessary attachments for the loadout.

  • Receiver: MX9
  • Barrel: 16.5″ Bruen S901
  • Muzzle: XTEN RR-40
  • Rear Grip: Bruen Q900 Grip
  • Ammunition: 9mm Sub AP
  • Magazine: 32 Round Mag

First on the list are the barrel-based attachments which include the 16.5″ Bruen S901 barrel and the XTEN RR-40 muzzle. These are selected for the bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control that they provide. If you don’t have the XTEN RR-40, you can find other suppressors like it. They just need to have an extended damage range.

Our lone mobility attachment on this build is the Bruen Q900 Grip for the rear slot. ADS and sprint-to-fire speed are why we equip this, but it can be tuned even further. When tuning, it’s up to you if you want some extra stability or the maximum amount of ADS.

To close out the MX9 loadout in Warzone 2, we want the right ammunition. 9mm Sub AP ammunition and 32 Round Mags are integral and the ammo must be tuned. For the ammo tuning, maxing out bullet velocity and damage range is the only good option, otherwise, an optic should be used.
