In order to assemble a balanced kart in Mario Kart 8, check out the following recommendations:

  • Best Character: You should pick any large level 3 character such as Bowser, Morton, or Wario.
  • Kart Type: Select Blue Falcon, Pipeframe, or Streetle for the best speed/grip ratio.
  • Tires Type: Always go for Slicks.
  • Glider Type: You can select any one you like because it doesn’t impact the performance.

With this setup, you will create a kart that will have an excellent ratio of maximum speed and grip, which others will not be able to push easily (due to heavy drivers).
