Since the launch of COD MW2, the Kastov-74u has been one of the best assault rifles in Multiplayer, and that has not come close to changing in public matches. If you want to easily stomp out some of the public matches in MW2 Season 3 Reloaded, I have the most powerful Kastov-74u loadout with all the necessary attachments included.

- Muzzle: Komodo Heavy
- Underbarrel: Phase-3 Grip
- Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip
- Stock: Otrezat Stock
- Laser: Schlager PEQ Box IV
Most of the rifles in the Kastovia platform have some odd options for barrels and I tend to skip them for that reason. Rather than having an option for a barrel that has more range and recoil control, the Kastovia platform typically forces one side, especially on the 74u. For that reason, I chose to stick with the Komodo Heavy muzzle and the Phase-3 Grip underbarrel as the only control attachments.
Because the Kastov-74u in MW2 plays much more like an assault rifle and submachine gun hybrid, it’s important to keep the mobility high. To enhance that side of the weapon, I use the True-Tac Grip rear grip and the Otrezat Stock. Both of these are tried and true on weapons like the Vaznev-9k and they will continue to work wonders on the AR as well.

The last attachment is the Schlager PEQ Box IV. Lasers are banned from use in Ranked Play, but so is the MW2 Kastov-74u, which means we can make full use of the attachment. This is another easy way to boost the ADS speed on the Kastov and there are nearly no negatives. Use the tuning as well to add even more ADS speed without any visible laser to worry about in MW2 Season 3 Reloaded.
In the clip above, you can see just how fast the Kastov-74u can shred through enemy players. One of the strongest points of the weapons is the headshot multipliers, along with the mobility that is offered when compared with other assault rifles. If you want speed and damage, this is the weapon for you.
