The Kastovia platform is one of the largest in Modern Warfare 2 and most of them are super effective, regardless of the game mode that you’re playing. But the Kastov 545 seems to fall behind the rest of the pack when compared to the platform and the assault rifle class.
Though it may fall flat in many stat categories, we don’t have to lose all hope for the AR. There are still some great ways to build it up and ensure that the Kastov 545 is a viable pick. Our loadout guide will go over everything you need to get the best results in MW2.
Modern Warfare 2 – Best Kastov 545 Loadout
The loadout for the 545 should remain similar to other assault rifle classes, but we want to ensure that the damage range is sufficient. Taking advantage of the recoil is also a major plus to the overall stats. You can find all of the attachments needed for the loadout below.
- Receiver: Kastov 545
- Barrel: Kastovia 406
- Muzzle: Echoless-80
- Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
- Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip
- Stock: Prolite TL3 Stock
To fix the issues with the damage range on the 545, we have two attachments in the barrel section of the weapon. The Kastovia 406 barrel and the Echoless-80 both provide tons of range and recoil control benefits that will ensure you can beam enemies from nearly any distance.

After the barrel is done, we move to the grip slots on both ends. The VX Pineapple and the True-Tac Grip are opposite ends of the stat spectrum, but they work well together. Having the pineapple helps with recoil control and the True-Tac is there to add some more speed to the weapon.
Our last attachment is the Prolite TL3 Stock, and like the rear grip, the Prolite has tons of mobility stats. This is the last piece to make sure that there is balance across the Kastov 545 and that it can keep up with other weapons in Modern Warfare 2.
