Best EBR-14 Loadout in Modern Warfare 2

Another DMR meta?

There are plenty of deadly semi-auto rifles in Modern Warfare 2 that can take players down in one well-placed shot. But there aren’t many that do it with as much efficiency as the EBR-14 and its platform.

Compared to other battle rifles and marksman rifles, the EBR-14 has a decent rate of fire and the control allows each shot to feel accurate. Even if you don’t hit a headshot, the EBR is great for two-shot-to-the-body kills using quick succession. This guide will give you the most effective loadout for the rifle in Call of Duty: MW2.

Modern Warfare 2 – Best EBR-14 Loadout

In this build, the EBR should be equal parts control and mobility so that it can serve a more versatile purpose. Deciding to use a sight or not is up to you as well but can help with the lower-tier irons. All the attachments you need are listed below.

  • Receiver: EBR-14
  • Barrel: 22″ Boremaster Barrel
  • Muzzle: Polarfire-S
  • Rear Grip: FSS Gen. 7 Grip
  • Stock: SO R55 Adaptor
  • Optic: Cronen Mini Pro

Barrel attachments are our first focus and these are the additions that are going to help us with recoil control, accuracy, and damage range. The 22″ Boremaster Barrel and the Polarfire-S muzzle are the best options in this category and you’ll have the edge you need using these.

To counterbalance the heavier barrel options, we need to add the FSS Gen. 7 Grip and the SO R55 Adaptor stock. Both options are going to add a ton of ADS speed along with sprint-to-fire efficiency. You’ll need these if you want to use the EBR-14 at its best in Modern Warfare 2.

The final attachment is the Cronen Mini Pro optic for better target acquisition. Sights in general are subjective and based on how the player views the optic, but you’ll want something with less zoom. Larger scopes can be used but they’ll be more niche.
