Flower of Paradise Lost Artifact Set

Best Characters for the Flower of Paradise Lost Artifact Set in Genshin Impact

Night and day are fading out while farming for these

Flower of Paradise Lost is an Artifact Set in Genshin Impact which was introduced during Version 3.3. This set can be obtained through the City of Gold domain in Sumeru introduced in the same update alongside the Desert Pavilion Chronicle Set, which has a very different focus for usage.

This artifact set is a direct buff for some relatively new team compositions made possible with the introduction of Dendro, more specifically Bloom-related teams. They’ve been brought to the spotlight with the introduction of Nilou and have many variations that are equally stronger. This set focuses on enabling them.

Genshin Impact – Flower of Paradise Lost Artifact Set Effects

Complete the City of Gold Domain in the Eye of the Sands for obtaining this set. You cannot get it through other means such as Mystic Offering, and each piece you get (if you get one) is completely random.

Flower of Paradise Lost
2-piece effectIncreases Elemental Mastery by 80.
4-piece effectThe equipping character’s Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon reaction DMG are increased by 40%. Additionally, after the equipping character triggers Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon, they will gain another 25% bonus to the effect mentioned prior. Each stack of this lasts 10s. Max 4 stacks simultaneously. This effect can only be triggered once per second. The character who equips this can still trigger its effects when not on the field.

Bloom is easy to activate with many teams, but Hyperbloom and Burgeon are only activated by inflicting Electro or Pyro, respectively, into a previously created Bloom core. Luckily, some characters that were once considered underwhelming fit this niche perfectly.

Best Characters to Use Flower of Paradise Lost

1 – Thoma

Thoma was probably one of the most criticized 4-stars when released, but his kit is now ironically everything a Burgeon composition needs. He’ll be the one causing reactions in those teams, so this set is the best possible option out there for him. The extra Elemental Mastery also amps his reaction damage even further.

2 – Kuki Shinobu

Shinobu always had her niche as an Electro healer, but Dendro made her the poster girl for Hyperbloom. Her application and timely healing are perfect for those teams, adding Flower of Paradise Lost as another set she can potentially use. The 2-piece effect even boosts her healing thanks to her Passive and gives her some nice extra damage.

3 – Kokomi

This one’s more complicated as it only works in Nilou teams.  The set must be held by the character who’s actually causing the reaction, which will usually be Kokomi or the second Hydro character with Nilou (Barbara, Xingqiu, etc) in a regular 2 Hydro – 2 Dendro Nilou Bloom team.

4 – Nahida

Similar to the previous case, Nahida will be the one triggering reactions if you’re going with 3 Hydro – 1 Dendro. In this case, you should also give someone else a Deepwood Memories set for maximizing Bloom damage.

5 – Honorable Mentions

The aforementioned Barbara or Xingqiu can also hold it in Nilou teams, but never give it to Nilou herself as she prefers HP from other sets. Dendro characters in general (Collei, Traveler) will also enjoy it if there’s another person with the Deepwood set in the team.
