The answer is yes. Rick & Morty are coming to MultiVersus in season one. It seems like Rick’s playstyle will focus on the portal gun, summoning Mr. Meeseeks, and more. While Morty’s playstyle will be built around an emphasis on projectiles and counter moves.
This information comes directly from the MultiVersus Twitter account which officially confirmed both Rick & Morty and Lebron for the game.

I know, I know, we are just as upset by this news as you are. Now, this platform fighter is going to be ruled by children screaming “wub a lub a dub dub,” and other bizarre Rick Sanchez quips. However, the use of Rick’s portal gun could make for some interesting moves and other attacks in the game. It’s really a double-edged sword here and not the super cool kind.
Rick Sanchez will be joining during season one, which launches officially sometime in August; while MultiVersus is currently in its beta period, the game will eventually roll out into its official launch with the start of season one. We will just have to wait and see what Rick & Morty can do in the game until then.
