Season 17 of Apex Legends is here, and the patch it’s brought with it is massive. We’ve got new weapon mastery tracks, changes to some classic maps, and a whole new legend (grandpa Ballistic). Also, I suspect that the Apex ranked badges changed. Is that just me? Does anyone else see that? Unfortunately, with all new seasons comes a host of day one errors. Apex Legends: How to Fix Problem Processing Game Logic
So, this isn’t the first time Apex players have struggled to get into the game because of a “problem processing game logic”. Fortunately, there is a solution. Here’s what’s causing the problem and how to fix it.
Unfortunately, this error is caused by a failure to verify your account with EA servers. Which is really not your fault. It’s just an error spike that happens to an unfortunate batch (of hundreds) of players during certain moments in Apex Legends.
But because we know the reason, there’s are a few fixes you can try.
How to Re-Verify your EA Account
So, we’re going to need to re-verify your EA Account. Here are a few ways that we can try to get that to happen.
- Close down Apex Legends completely and re-open it.
- Restart your PC or console, then re-open Apex Legends.
- If you’re on a PC, log out of your main account (without closing down Apex Legends), then sign into another account, and try again with your main account. Unfortunately, this method doesn’t seem to work for everyone.
- Unplug your route, then plug it in after 15 seconds, and try to log back into Apex Legends.

It’s a sad fact that the start of a new season almost always has a few bugs and hiccups. If none of the above methods worked, it might be best to return in an hour or two. Other players are reporting similar bugs, where they can access the game but wind up in the Firing Range for some reason. Respawn has promised to work on that kink in the next hour, so there should be a quick bug fix sometime today.
