Amnesia: The Bunker, the fourth and latest installment in the popular Amnesia first-person horror series, is set to scare gamers in a short matter of time. Amnesia: The Bunker Release Date

Amnesia: The Bunker will arrive on May 23, 2023. Previously, the new title from Frictional Games was slated for a March launch, as well as an earlier release in May, but has since been pushed back to May 23, 2023.

Amnesia: The Bunker Platforms

Amnesia: The Bunker will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Although other sites and sources have suggested that the game is coming to PS5, the end of Amnesia: The Bunker’s most recent gameplay trailer (as pictured above) indicates that the PS4 will be the sole PlayStation console version. However, Amnesia: The Bunker will be playable on PS5 through backwards compatibility.

Amnesia: The Bunker Explained

According to the game’s description on Steam, “Amnesia: The Bunker is a first-person horror game set in a desolate WW1 Bunker. Face the oppressing terrors stalking the dark corridors. Search for and use the tools and weapons at your disposal, while keeping the lights on at all costs. Overcome fear, persevere, and make your way out alive.”

The game is the fourth installment in the long-running franchise following 2010’s Amnesia: The Dark Descent, 2013’s Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and 2020’s Amnesia: Rebirth.
