How to Change Voice Language in Final Fantasy Resonance
Final Fantasy Resonance lets you switch between English and Japanese voice acting, with separate options for text language and subtitles. If you prefer the original Japanese performances or think the partial dubbing breaks immersion, you can change the voice language. Here’s how:
- Go to the Final Fantasy Resonance title screen.
- Open Options.
- Find the Voice Language setting.
- Select either English or Japanese.
- Confirm your selection and return to the game.

You can also change the text language, so it’s possible to play with Japanese voices and English subtitles. Here are all the languages you can pick for the text:
- English
- Japanese
- German
- French
- Spanish
- Korean
- Simplified Chinese
- Traditional Chinese
Keep in mind that this setting primarily affects the main story cast. The Visions use Japanese voice acting regardless of which language you select, so switching to English won’t change Cloud, Sephiroth, or the other returning characters’ voices.
