Team GO Rocket Takeover events are nothing new to Pokemon GO and we have yet another one to take on within the Season of Mythical Wishes. Each event tasks players with defeating Grunts and eventually taking the battle all the way up to the main boss of the organization.
The fights with Giovanni always lead to a Shadow Legendary that changes with each new event introduced in the game. Along with the Shadow Legendary, there is plenty of Special Research to complete, such as the Shadow Skirmishes this time around. You can find all the steps here and the rewards that follow.

You can always save the Super Rocket Radars until there is another event like this in Pokemon GO. If there is no event, the Super Rocket Radar will simply bring you to Shadow Mewtwo rather than anything specific. This weekend, the Shadow Legendary is Registeel, so if you want one in Pokemon GO, now is the time to catch it.
