The open beta for Mortal Shell is available for free right now on the Epic Games Store. While the beta is only a small taste of the full game that will be available at launch, it’s surprisingly generous when it comes to how much gameplay you’re given.
With this gameplay comes access to different areas, weapons, lore, items, and more. If you’re working to collect all of the available items in the game, or you picked a few up and simply want to know what they do before you use them, we’ve got you covered.
Below, we’ve listed all of the items currently available in the Mortal Shell beta and what they’re used for.
All Items and Their Uses in the Mortal Shell Beta
In the Mortal Shell beta, there are a variety of items that can help you make it through the game and the boss fight at the end. With the game’s Familiarity system, the more you use an item, the more effective and helpful it’ll be.
When you pick up a brand new item, you won’t know what it does until you use it. Because of this, it can be helpful to run through a list of available items and their uses to ensure you don’t waste something, or use something that may be detrimental to you at the wrong time.
Once Mortal Shell is officially released, the list of items will likely expand, so we encourage you to check back in the future as we expand our list of available items and their uses. We’ll also be updating this list as we uncover more information about some of the rarer items in Mortal Shell.
